Is This The Cover Art For Adele’s James Bond Single?

Any new music from Adele would be fantastic, but one associated with the James Bond franchise and the anticipation is even greater. “Rumor Has It” *snicker* the song will officially be released later this week and I personally can’t wait. Especially, given all the hype and praise the track is already receiving.

One Republic’s Ryan Tedder recently tweeted the following before deleting it according to MI6-HQ.com, “I’ve heard it. Best bond song in my lifetime. Hands down- hats off once again to Paul Epworth and Adele. hope they win Oscar.” Titled “Let The Sky Fall“, Showbiz 411 calls the track “an ominous, dramatic ballad, with lots of gorgeous horn flourishes peeking out through Adele’s now trademark vocals.” Check out some of the song lyrics below.

“Let the sky fall/Let it crumble/We will stand tall/And face it all/together.”

“This is the end/Hold your breath and count to ten/Feel the Earth move and then/Hear my heart burst again.”

Only time will tell if Adele’s Bond single will rank with classics from Shirley Bassey, Carly Simon and Tina Turner or if it will continue the recent string of Bond bombs from Madonna and the Alicia Keys/Jack White collaboration. I say the former and also predict it will hit No. 1 in several countries. People have been aching for new Adele and they’ll eat up anything the British songbird is dishing. Check out the cover art below.
