Adam Levine VS FOX News: Who’s Team Are You On?

Oh oh. Celebrity feuds are sometimes fun to watch. I mean, who doesn’t love a royal tongue lashing from one of your favorite stars. However, this has turned into a case of straight up immaturity. It’s no surprise that Adam Levine speaks his mind. He openly discussed his distaste for American Idol and this year’s VMA’s but now, it’s Adam vs. the idiots of FOX News.
Levine recently tweeted to FOX News, “Dear Fox News, don’t play our music on your evil fucking channel ever again. Thank you.” To be fair, those are some pretty strong words from the Maroon 5 front man. But then, Andy Levy and Greg Gutfeld decided to take it to the next level of immaturity as the two proceeded to bash Adam’s music and his band repeatedly on the air. In a funny twist, the FOX News team couldn’t even place the name of the show he is one (aka The Voice) and referred to him as a game show host. These guys are absolutely insane. To make it even worse, the duo proceeded to send Tweets to further their point:
- “Dear @AdamLevine, don’t make crappy f*cking music ever again. Thank you.”
- “Maroon 5?s bio strangely fails to note the band was developed by the CIA as part of its enhanced interrogation techniques program.”
- “Fun joke: why did Maroon 5 cross the road? because crappy music is legal there!”
- “Names that sound alike: Maroon 5 and crap”
- “Maroon 5 is just bad music”

I bet Seth McFarland is the first (still in denial that god is the only cure for being gay) 2nd would be Joy Behar ( she had a dream she was eating chocolate pudding,she woke up to find a spoon in her ass) 3 and 4 has to be lady ha ga(her dick is so short she pissed on her balls) that were being held by Levine. I’m with Adam. They should ask permission to use his music before actually using it. It’s his right to say who gets to use it, if in fact he does own it. I think that the gentlemen at Fox are being very immature and it even shows in the way they were trying to insult Maroon 5. I think their behavior reflects heavily on their network. It’s also hypocritical that the network is using Maroon 5′s music yet these gents want to call it crap… then why was Fox using it in the first place?

I don’t blame Adam Levine for being that crass and abrasive about it. There were ways he could have gone about getting his music off of Fox without causing a shit-storm but if I were him I’d want as many people as humanly possible to know that I didn’t support the network. When they play music that isn’t Hank Williams Jr. or Ted Nugent their viewers think, somewhere in their head, “wow, they can’t be the voice of the evil billionaires that are raping this country because they like cool music!”People are that susceptible.
It’s not about being one sided. It’s fine to have an editorial voice. I watch MSNBC and they absolutely do. However, they don’t conflate their editorial opinion with their neutral journalism and they don’t just make shit up. Fox News has a record of doing both of those things.
So team Levine, I guess.

Team Levine. Aside from his obvious good-looks + swag, I like his band’s music. It definitely does not suck. “She Will Be Loved”, “Wake Up Call”, “Sunday Morning”, “If I Never See Your Face Again”, “Until You’re Over Me”, “This Love”, “Makes Me Wonder”, + now “Moves Like Jagger” are all my jams.
Jams, I say! I’m not a super-fan by any stretch, I just happen to like a good bit of their music. lol

Absolutely on Andy and Greg’s team. Maroon 5 entirely sucks. It is weak pop at best. Nothing challenging or interesting in any way. Besides, Maroon 5 sold their rights to ASCAP or BMI they gave TV and radio stations the right to use their music. Those broadcasters then pay blanket royalties that are generally split up among all artists. If Maroon 5 wanted to be elitist snobs and only allow their music to be heard in venues they happen to like, then they shouldn’t have sold out to the man.

First, if Levine’s comment did stare such a reaction is probably as personality he has influence in the public’s opinion.
Second, is very childish from Fox news to start a battle of you’re blah blah, aren’t you suppose to be the serious journalist ?
Third, is very interesting that for being “serious journalist ” they can’t take a minute to research who Adam Levine is and get the facts right. Come one the only thing they got right is that he was member of Maroon 5. That tells a lot of how their research goes.
