Adam Lambert knows how to kick off the weekend. The 33-year-old singer shares two new tracks off his highly-anticipated third studio album, The Original High, much to the delight of his adoring fans. Given that it’s still three weeks away, I’m glad Lambert was in a generous mood.
Both “Another Lonely Night” and “Evil In The Night” start off slowly before picking up the energy. Of the two, I like the former one much better. The Max Martin co-produced track is an electro-pop masterpiece that reminds me of something that Robyn would record. It’s so good, I could see it as a potential single. The latter features more of a dubstep/drum and bass kinda vibe.
With offerings like these to go along with the previously released “Ghost Town” and “Underground,” I have high hopes that The Original High could put Adam on top of the charts where he belongs. Someone needs to give Sam Smith a run for his money 😉 Check out both tracks below.
