While other networks have announced show renewals, ABC has been relatively quiet. That is until now. The alphabet just delivered season renewals to four shows.
Quantico, which has been one of the breakouts this season, received a sophomore season order. Its overnight numbers are respectable, but the Priyanka Chopra-fronted FBI drama is one of the season’s biggest shows in delayed viewing. Find out what other shows received good news.
While I loved Once Upon A Time when it first premiered, I feel the fantasy show has run its course. Clearly, network execs don’t agree with me. It’s been renewed for a sixth season.
Meanwhile, two of my favorite, and most underrated sitcoms, also are coming back. The Goldbergs, a steady performer on Wednesday nights, returns for a fourth season. When DVR playback is factored in (8.9 mil and a 3.1), it’s ABC’s No. 2 comedy behind Modern Family. Fresh Off The Boat is the only bright spot on the network’s Tuesday roster. With DVR playback, it reports 5.9 mil and a 2.1.I love, love, love Constance Wu. Someone give her an Emmy!!!

UPDATE: Grey’s Anatomy, Scandal, How to Get Away With Murder, Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Modern Family, black-ish, America’s Funniest Home Videos, The Bachelor, Dancing With the Stars, and Shark Tank have all been renewed. The shows with their fates still up in the air are American Crime Story, Marvel’s Agent Carter, Castle, Dr. Ken, Galavant, Last Man Standing, The Muppets, and Nashville.
