Last night, the 70th Annual Golden Globe Awards took place, hosted by the hilarious Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. The duo made such a great team, I only wish there had been more of them! There were several very funny moments throughout the night, as well as some touching moments such Jody Foster’s acceptance speech for the Cecil B. DeMille Award. Another of my favorite parts of the night was when Kristen Wiig and Will Ferrell were presenters together. I was laughing my head off. I’m not sure what was with Tommy Lee Jones’ stank face during that portion of the evening, but whatever. I also loved when Adele won for “Skyfall” and they cut to Taylor Swift’s “less than impressed” face.
I watched the Awards show at Donovan & Brian‘s house along with some Homorazzi cast members and some of our other friends. As you may already know, we had made some predictions as to who we thought would win. I’ve included the results of those predictions within the list of winners below. I’m just going to put it out there right away, I suck at these types of predictions and totally lost. LOL.

2013 Golden Globes Prediction Results
Congrats to Matt who redeemed himself after the Emmys. He correctly predicted absolutely nothing during those awards show. Ironically enough, it was his predictions in the Golden Globes television categories that set him apart from the rest.

I thought it was a great show!
A few acceptance speeches were a little out there and that Lena just needs a few lessons in walking in heels, but what a fun night!

I bet Taylor Swift is gonna write a song about how mean Tina Fey was to her for calling her to stop dating and first figure out who she is…

Thanks for this post. Looks like I missed a great show, but at least I get to see the highlights. I heart Adele.
