Homorazzi’s Movie Predictions For The 69th Golden Globe Awards

The 69th Annual Golden Globes takes place tonight and we at Homorazzi.com are beyond excited. Out of all the awards shows, the Golden Globes are usually the most entertaining to watch. When alcohol is in the mix, expect the unexpected. Making the ceremony even more unpredictable this year is the return of Ricky Gervais. Last time he hosted, no celebrity was safe from his comic jabs. I’m sure everyone will be on the edge of their seats hoping Gervais doesn’t ridicule them for the world to see. Being that we’re fans of the Golden Globes, we decided to have a little competition amongst ourselves.

I asked everyone to give their predictions for only the movie awards. Being that the Oscars are just around the corner, the film nods are the ones everyone is keeping their eyes on. Given that the Homorazzi cast is compiled from a varied group of unique individuals, our predictions reflect that and are very different. We came close to coming at a consensus for one of the categories, but Patrick and Adam effed that up by going against the grain.

Another category, on the other hand, proved to be a deadlock. We split down the middle when predicting Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy. Half chose Michelle Williams while the other half chose Kristen Wiig. Check out the rest of our movie predictions below and predict which Homorazzi.com writer will come out on top with the most correct.

  • Dan

I think Adam could be right with ‘The Kid with the Bike’. I like Rich’s choice for Lead Female in a Drama for Rooney Mara, and I definitely think I got the music selection wrong…
