Sketch artist Matt Kaufenberg is getting some extra attention today after a couple of his sketches went viral. Matt took the time to draw up the cast of NBC’s hit 30 Rock as if it were to be an animated series. Kaufenberg’s drawing style really captures each personality and quirk about each character. He first revealed a fully rendered drawing of Frank but decided to release a picture of the whole cast. With it, he said this.

So after finishing up the Frank piece, i decided i wanted to try drawing the characters in a more animated style. I thought it would be fun to show my process so here are the sketches of the main characters. From here i’ll start rendering each one. Stay tuned for those!

Now it just begs the question, will Tina Fey and NBC see these sketches and want to use them for an episode concept? I really hope so. How fun would it be for 30 Rock to get animated for one night only? Check out the sketch of Frank and then check out the full cast drawing below.
