2019 Razzies: Donald Trump, John Travolta, Will Ferrell & More Earn Nominations

Ever year on the eve of when the Oscar nominations are unveiled, the Razzies announce the contenders for the year’s worst films and performances. Luckily for me, I managed to avoid watching any of this year’s crop of cinematic crap.

Leading the pack with six nominations apiece are Holmes & Watson and Gotti. Will Ferrell and John Travolta earned a Worst Actor nod for their performance, respectively for each film.

Both actors have huge competition in the form of Donald Trump. That’s right. POTUS nabbed a Worst Actor nom for his appearances in the documentaries Death of a Nation and Fahrenheit 11/9. His wife, Melanie Trump, even popped up in the Worst Supporting Actress field, as did KellyAnne Conway.

Trump also earned a Worst Screen Combo mention. Surprisingly, Melania isn’t his co-hort in this category. Rather, it’s his, and I quote, self perpetuating pettiness. LOL!!!

The 2019 Razzies will be handed out on Saturday, February 23, just one day before the Oscars. In the past, Halle Berry, Ben Affleck and Sandra Bullock have all been good sports and accepted their dubious awards in person. Will Donald Trump surprise us all and show up and join in on the joke? Probably not. A sense of humor he certainly does not possess.

Check out the full list of nominees below for the 39th Annual Golden Raspberry (Razzies) Awards.
