Rihanna, Katy Perry & More Get Holy For Vogue’s Met Gala Videos

The 2018 Met Gala took place Monday night in New York City. Once again, it was a non-stop parade of eye-popping looks after another on the red carpet. It’s no wonder it’s dubbed as the “Super Bowl of Fashion.”

Rihanna, Amal Clooney and Donatella Versace were co-hosts of this year’s extravaganza which theme was “Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination.” RiRi definitely took the theme and her co-hosting duties seriously. IMHO, she stole the show looking like a sexy pope in a custom Maison Margiela for John Galliano.

“Designed to create a dialogue between fashion and the masterworks of religious art in the museum’s holdings, the show will be presented in a trinity of locations: the Anna Wintour Costume Center, the medieval galleries at the Met’s Fifth Avenue location, and further uptown at the Cloisters. Central to the conversation will be the papal garb on loan from the Sistine Chapel sacristy, many of which have never been seen outside the Vatican, even in the 1983 Met blockbuster, “The Vatican Collections: The Papacy and Art.””

Vogue uploaded a series of clips on their Instagram featuring the likes of Rihanna, Katy Perry, Ariana Grande, Lana Del Rey and Frances McDormand rocking their looks in the Great Hall. If you only have time to watch a couple clips, I definitely recommend Rihanna and McDormand’s.
