2018 Gotham Awards Release Full List Of Nominees

Awards season is here. The first batch of nominees have arrived courtesy of the 2018 Gotham Awards, presented by the Independent Filmmaker Project (IFP).

Who’s sitting pretty? The ladies of The Favourite are. The film not only earned a Best Feature nod, but also the Special Jury Award For Ensemble Performance for Emma Stone, Rachel Weisz, and Olivia Colman. Expect those three ladies to factor heavily as we head towards the 2019 Academy Awards.

Interestingly enough though, neither Stone, Weisz or Colman received an individual Best Actress nod. Those went to Glenn Close, Toni Collette, Kathryn Hahn, Regina Hall and Michelle Pfeiffer instead. Is it finally time for Close to grab that elusive Oscar statue? Right now, she’s the early favourite.

The 2018 IFP Gotham Awards ceremony will be held on Monday, Nov. 26 at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City. Check out all the nominees below. Excited that Pose got some love on the television side. Love, love, love that Ryan Murphy show.
