At long last, we finally have our first major awards show of what promises to be a lengthy season. The 2013 People’s Choice Awards were handed out last night and as always it was pretty easy to predict. If you saw someone in the audience, chances were they were solely there to pick up their trophy. Why else would they show up, right? The Golden Globes are just a few days away.
While The Hunger Games‘ Jennifer Lawrence, Katy Perry and Taylor Swift cleaned up with regards to hardware (click here for the full list of winners), each lady placed in different categories on my fashion round-up of the 2013 PCAs. Can you figure out which one landed on my Best Dressed, Worst Dressed and On The Fence list? Keep reading below to see if you figured out my fashion tastes, along with my respective picks in each category. Be sure to leave your comments at the end of the post for your choices for who rocked it out on the red carpet and who bombed. Fashion is highly subjective after all.

Reportedly newly-single Swift was absolutely stunning with her white Ralph Lauren dress. The perfect amount of cleavage without being too slutty. Wise decision opt out of any neck jewelry and accessorize only with a pair of earrings and ring.

Naomi shimmers in a black and gold Alexander McQueen dress. Is she trying to tell the Academy she looks good in Oscar gold?

This picture doesn’t do Pompeo’s white Lanvin dress justice. When she walked up the steps to accept her trophy, the way the dress split in the middle was EVERYTHING. It was beyond hot.

A lot of people are probably going to hate this outfit that resembles bedroom lingerie, but for some reason I’m diggin’ it. Normally, choosing to wear a sheer top with a bra showing is an automatic fail in my books, but not this time. Call me crazy.

The Awkward actress looked anything but awkward in this Aidan Mattox dress. Loved the art deco vibe of the gown.

I felt like I needed 3D glasses to appreciate this green Mary Katrantzou dress. Paris Hilton is definitely a present I don’t want to unwrap. Her model boyfriend River Viiperi, on the other hand, is another story.

The Beauty and the Beast actress is far too young and hot to wear this matronly looking Jean Fares dress. The chiffon top is beyond unflattering.

Sorry Katy Perry, but Carrie Underwood already landed the Maria Von Trapp role in NBC’s remake of The Sound of Music. Oh well, at least Perry can recycle this Valentino dress if she ever finds herself at an Oktoberfest festival.

Love Sandra Bullock, but she looks more like a secretary than an Oscar-winning actress in her Vera Wang corset and pencil skirt ensemble. The pink Jimmy Choo shoes are pretty hot thought.

In the wise words of Project Runway’s Nina Garcia, short, tight and shiny is the quickest way to look slutty. Mission accomplished. Not everyone can be Heidi Klum. The German supermodel could pull this off.

I love 90% of Brittany’s Maria Lucia Hohen dress. The color is flattering and so is the draping. My only complaint is that it’s an odd length. If it was either a little shorter or longer, it would’ve been sensational.

Rumer’s black sparkly alice + olivia by Stacey Bendet dress really elongates her. Is it me, or does the dress look like it weighs a tonne?

I can’t quite place it, but there’s something about this black Valentino Couture dress that’s a little off. Any ideas, why I’m on the fence with this look worn by the Hunger Games actress? I’m sure she’s saving all her best gowns for the Golden Globes, SAGs and Oscars.

I’m glad Lea opted out of wearing another floor-length gown. Love the color of this pink Elia Saab dress. I’m just not a fan of her matching pink strappy heels. It’s a little too one-note for me.

Conflicted with Paris. Katrantzou is the most exciting new designer of the last decade but worn by Hilton it loses its magic.
