The 85th Annual Academy Awards took place on Sunday, bringing together Hollywood’s finest to soak up each other’s awesomeness as they are honored for the best in cinema in the past year. The evening was hosted by the hilarious Seth MacFarlane who did a great job.

I loved all of the heartfelt speeches and enjoyed that First Lady Michelle Obama came in a live video stream from the White House to help Jack Nicholson announce the winner for Best Picture… which turned out to be Argo. Ben Affleck, who directed and starred in the film, delivered a really genuine and emotional acceptance speech, ending the show on a great note.

Check out the list of winners below and share your thoughts in the comments as to if you were surprised by any of the wins.
