Last night, the 2012 MTV Europe Music Awards took place in Frankfurt, Germany with host Heidi Klum. Some of the presenters included Lana Del Rey, Alicia Keys, Ludacris, David Hasselhoff, and Kim Kardashian, who actually tripped and almost fell when she walked out.
Rihanna and Taylor Swift had received the most nominations with six and five nods respectively, but it was Swift who walked away with Best Female, Best Live and Best Look and Rihanna walked away empty handed. For the boys, it was Justin Bieber that came out on top and won the same amount as Swift, taking the Best World Stage, Best Pop and Best Male.
Carly Rae Jepsen and Psy were one of the many performers at the show. Jepsen earned two awards, one of which was Best Song (presented by Kim Kardashian) for “Call Me Maybe,” while Psy took the award for best video for his worldwide hit, “Gangnam Style.” Check out the full list of winners below.

With the exception of Linkin Park, Lana Del Rey, and the great Whitney Houston pop music tends to reward trash.
