As mentioned before, fashion is highly subjective. One man’s Prada loafers are another man’s workout gear. Let me just preface this post, once again, by saying I’m no fashion expert, but I like to think I have decent taste. Like they say, just like a**holes, everyone’s got an opinion and here are mine.
Overall, I have to say I enjoyed most of the gowns that made their way down the red carpet at the 64th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards. Some ladies really stepped it up, while some stayed in their fashion wheelhouse. Hey, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. On my list are a few usual suspects with a couple of surprises. If you’ve read my fashion roundups before, you probably have a good idea who made it.
Check out my Top 10 choices for Best Dressed below. Be sure to leave your comments afterwards. Agree or disagree, I love hearing feedback.

Despite a wardrobe malfunction (the back split near her butt), Sofia wowed in this dazzling teal hand-beaded gown by Zuhair Murad. The Colombian rarely has a red carpet misstep.

The 2 Broke Girls star literally took my breath away when I saw her in this J. Mendel gown. I’ve never seen her look so stunning. Her best accessory… her tasty boyfriend, Nick Zano.

Not many were a fan of the color of this dress, but I absolutely love her lemon-lime Monique Lhuillier gown. Even though she was born in Maryland, Bowen looks like the quintessential California girl.

At first glance, I thought the belt was a separate piece, but it’s actually part of her Andrew GN gown. I’m a sucker for glittery dresses on the red carpet. Britton is the perfect hybrid of Nashville and Hollywood glamour.

I had to include the Homeland award-winning actress on this list because I had no idea she was preggers. Her canary yellow Lanvin gown did an excellent job of concealing and complementing her baby bump. It wasn’t until I saw a side profile did I realize she was with child.

Is it me, or is the Fashion Police star wasting away? Just look at that tiny wait. For once, her purple hair matched her outfit. Osborne wowed in this lilac one-shoulder Zac Posen gown.

The Nurse Jackie star made it on both best and worst dressed lists in several publications. Personally, I love that in a sea of bright colors, she kept things elegant in this black and white, gold accented Stella McCartney dress.

Always the fashion risk taker, the Mad Men actress decided to go high glam gothic in this black Zac Posen gown. It was a little Black Swan meets Judy Jetson. Didn’t love the hair, but LOVED the dress.

Gotta love a woman who knows how to accentuate her curves. The redhead Mad Men Emmy-nominated star fills her strapless Christian Siriano dress in all the right places.

Her emerald green Oscar de la Renta gown wasn’t my favorite dress by any means, but I had to include her for one main reason. Compared to her other Girls co-stars, Williams looked sensational. I get that the HBO show isn’t as fashion obsessed as Sex and the City, but a little tasteful couture goes a long way. You should see what Lena Dunham and Zosia Mamet wore. YIKES.
Both Heidi Klum and Amy Poehler have made headlines for their respective marital splits. What better way to show the world you’re doing okay than by looking as gorgeous as possible. Klum looked va-va-voom in her high-slit sea-foam green chiffon gown, while Poehler vamped it up in her plunging black beaded Stella McCartney dress. You go ladies.

I’m so torn about this Atelier Versace gown. On one hand I’m a sucker for shiny shimmery things. On the other, it doesn’t look very comfortable. The Elementary star joked with Ryan Seacrest that she had pliers in her purse just in case anything went wrong with her gown. As it turns out, Zooey Deschanel got her dress stuck in all of Liu’s hardware. LOL.

Julie Bowen looked gorgeous! honestly I don’t think this photo did the dress much justice. Her golden locks, clutch and tanned skin just all looked amazing- other good choices above not mad about the Lucy Lui glitter-ball effect which is sad, ’cause how can you not love Lucy?

The straps and cut out between the bust ruin Vergara’s dress and her hair is the same mid-parted weave with waves. There’s a way to wear that acid colour Julie Bowen is in, see Sarah-Jessica Parker’s Versace dress at the SATC2 New York premiere but with her orange tan and yellow hair it’s not working. Kelly Osbourne looks exsquisite. J Jones Zac Posen looks like dozens of Westwoods, it’s been done.

Jessica Paré is most definitely missing from this list. She was my look of the night, followed by Lucy Liu.

Don’t know how you could overlook Morena Baccarin in her Basil Soda gown. Stunning!!! Hair not so great, but the dress rocked it.
