VH1 Adds Even More Divas & Another Divo To The 2012 Edition

The list just keeps growing for this year’s Divas Live concert. It’s kinda turning into a bit of a gong show at this point. First, Ciara, Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato, Kelly Rowland and Jordin Sparks were revealed as this year’s crop of Divas. American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert was given the responsibility of being the master of ceremonies. A few weeks later, Kelly Clarkson, Melanie Fiona, Metric, Havana Brown and Pitbull were added to the roster of talent. Now, we have another handful of performers on deck to pay homage to the greatest divas of dance music.

Before I reveal who the latest additions are, I wanted to quickly share who the network have enlisted to make an appearance at the event. La La Anthony, Jenna Dewan Tatum, Stacey Kiebler and Kelly Osbourne will have the difficult task of introducing the acts. Also on tap is the wonderfully sassy Miss NeNe Leakes. She definitely has come a long way since her signature, “close your legs to married men,” catchphrase. Also on deck as a presenter is Brandy Norwood. To be perfectly honest, I’m surprised she isn’t performing. After all, she did headline the second edition of the VH1 Divas franchise.

Channeling their inner dance divas will be Natasha Bedingfield of The Hills fame, Keri “Knock You Down” Hilson, funk legend Bootsy Collins, R&B sensation Ledisi and Aussie hip hop artist Iggy Azalea. I’m sure these acts will duet with the aforementioned headliners. Care to make any predictions on match-ups?

The 2012 Divas Live dance party will air live at the Los Angeles Shrine Auditorium on Sunday, December 16. If you want to attend the concert, you can purchase tickets on VH1.com. Which act are you looking most forward to? Who’s your favorite Diva of all-time? Sound off below.
