The 12th Annual Cybersocket Web Awards took place on the evening of January 9 at the Factory in West Hollywood. Organizers of the event reported that the evening was a success, and highlights from the event included a performance by Luciana, a DJ sets by Chi Chi LaRue, and comedy by Chico’s Angels.

These awards honor the best of GLBT websites in adult entertainment. The best websites are rewarded in two different categories: Industry Choice Awards and Surfer’s Choice Awards. CyberSocket believes it is important to recognize these sites for being technological entrepreneurs, agents of free expressions and innovators or queer media.

Last year, the winner of Best Pornstar when to Steve Cruz and best mobile site went to Grindr. This year, the winners of those categories were different. Surprised that Grindr didn’t win? I’m happy to report that my favorite porn star won this year (not that I ever watch any porn – WINK). Hint: He’s in the main picture. Check out the full list of winners below.
